Tornado Genie - Magic

Description

This is something I came up for the sake of devising an interesting damage-triggered ability. The reason why it has a green activated ability (and has a blue-green hybrid mana in its mana cost) is because both of the official cards with "Tornado" in their name are green; this card was designed around its triggered ability, so it's mainly blue. It's intended as a semi-renewable way to get enemy creatures out of the way. Of course, it can only do that by dealing damage, and both of the ways it can do that expose it to being damaged in turn. (It has a fight ability because it's flying, so many creatures can't block it. Granted, it can block almost anything, but it dealing damage to a creature that way relies on that creature to attack.) To reduce the risk of it dying while bouncing enemy creatures, the Tornado Genie has decent toughness to start out with and can give itself a cheap and efficient temporary toughness boost. (Flavor-wise, said toughness boost represents it using high-speed winds to protect itself.)

Wording Fixes: Replace all instances of "does damage" with "deals damage".

Rulings 1: If you only pay U for Tornado Genie's second ability, X will be 0, which means Y will be 2. Tornado Genie will get +0/+2.
Rulings 2: "After damage has been resolved" can one of two things, depending on whether the damage it refers to is combat damage or noncombat damage. If the damage was inflicted in combat, "after damage has been resolved" means the end of combat step. If the damage was not inflicted in combat, "after damage has been resolved" means "after the spell or ability responsible for the damage has resolved". In the case of Tornado Genie's ability, it is triggered and put on the stack if and only if Tornado Genie deals damage to a creature and that creature is not removed from the battlefield (such as by dying) as an immediate consequence of said damage.
Rulings 3: Tornado Genie's triggered ability automatically targets the creature that Tornado Genie just dealt damage to. If that creature becomes an illegal target after being damaged but before the ability resolves, the ability is countered. If the creature is removed from the battlefield before the ability resolves, the ability resolves without doing anything.
Rulings 4: If all of the damage Tornado Genie would deal is prevented, its ability doesn't trigger.
