Odd Dreams - Adventures in Shoe Retrieval

So, I just had a dream where I went on a vacation and stayed at some Chinese hotel called The Phoenix. Shortly after checking out, I realized that I had somehow left my shoes in the hotel room. When I tried to return to retrieve them, the concierge was a jerk, and insisted on making sure we weren't robbers by challenging to a game of riddles. While my mother struggled with the overly-long riddles, I got frustrated and headed straight to the hotel room, looking for the shoes, and it wasn't even locked, but the concierge saw me, got insulted, and insisted we leave. After a few minutes of fruitless searching for the manager, I went back and challenged the concierge to my own riddle: "What do you call a man who tests the honesty of others by challenging them to answer riddles?" Answer: "An idiot." I then proceeded to explain how a smart robber could easily pass the "test", while a stupid but honest person never could. I further pointed out the idiocy of leaving unoccupied rooms unlocked in a hotel of all places and finished off by threatening to downvote the establishment on every tourism site I could find, citing the unreasonable and moronic staff. I woke up right before I was let into the room.

So, yeah. Just wanted to describe the dream before I forgot it. Now I'm going back to bed, seeing as it's almost 6:15 A.M.
